ENCHANTING IVORY COAST : 8 DAYS-7 NIGHTS

Day 1 : Arrival

Arrival in Abidjan by International flight. Meet, assist and transfer to your hotel in Grand Bassam near Abidjan. Orientation and check-in. Overnight

Day 2 : Abidjan and surroundings

Breakfast and embark on a city tour of Abidjan visiting the Museum of Civilizations, WWWII memorial, the fruit pier and Arts Center, Saint Paul Cathedral and Banco National Park. Balance of the day at disposal. Overnight in Grand Bassam.

Day 3 : Abidjan-Yamoussoukro

Breakfast and check-out. Have a scenic drive to Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast’s second largest city. En route, visit Ahouakro archaelogical site and stop at local villages. Arrive in Yamoussoukro, visit Notre Dame de la Paix Basilica, world’s biggest church ; the sacred crocodiles pond and the colorful local market. Overnight in Yamoussoukro.

Day 4 : Yamoussoukro-Bouake
Breakfast and head to the capital of the Gbeke region. En route, visit Kondeyaokro village famous for Goly traditional danse and Baoule weavers. Arrive ; check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Tanossakassou potters’ village and ironsmiths. Overnight in Bouake.

Day 5 : Bouake-Korhogo

Breakfast. Today explore the capital of the Poro region. En route, visit to Mangoro potters in Katiola and Fakaha weavers. Arrive in Korhogo. Check-into your hotel. Visit Waraniene weavers and enjoy Boloye acrobatic dance. Overnight in Korhogo.

Day 6 : Korhogo and surroundings to Abidjan by air

Breakfast and check out. Visit Niofoin sacred hut, Koko sculptors and shea butter processing ladies at Katiokobadara. Transfer to the airport in the aftertoon for your flight back to Abidjan. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 7 : Grand Bassam and surroundings

Breakfast. Visit a cacao farm. In the the afternoon, tour to Assinie seaside holiday village with its fine sand beaches. Lake cruise, swimming and return to Grand Bassam. Overnight

Day 8 : Grand Bassam-Departure

Breakfast and embark on a city tour of Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast’s first capital city showcasing old colonial buildings, costume museum, the ceramic centre and the craft centre. Afternoon at leisure on the beach. Transfer to the airport for your onward journey back home.
